smartShiftMe is a web-based application that allows you to securely upload your SAP ABAP codebase to receive a free smartShiftMe analysis and code correction for your upgrade and unicode enablement. The analysis runs your system through the smartShiftMe automation technology and compiles a list and classification of errors . On this basis the automated ABAP code correction can be done.

ABAP Discovery in 4 simple steps

Free Registration and Project Setup
Register for a free smartShiftMe account. You will receive your log in password in an email following your registration. You can then log in and create a project for the ABAP-Quick Discovery.

smartShiftMe ABAP-Code Extractor
When your project has been set up, download and run the smartShiftMe extractor script. You will then upload the extractor output to our secure system for analysis.

Quick Discovery analysis of Your ABAP-Code
The Quick Discovery analysis will begin once the extractor output has been uploaded. You will receive a free summary of the Quick Discovery within 24 hours containing the number of violating objects per ABAP object type.

Remediation Estimation tool and next steps
Use the smartShiftMe Remediation Estimation tool to estimate the manual remediation effort necessary (usually 1-5%) for the code issues that cannot be remedied by the smartShiftMe automated correction tool.
